Not having to wake up early this morning was a treat. A sleep in gave our tired legs a chance to recover. The day was spent soaking up the local culture and wandering around the ancient town. There is nothing like this in Australia. The churches and castles are more than 500 years old. The old part of town exudes history and story. I was lucky enough to spend time in the place that Ernest Hemingway wrote stories of this region.
There was lots to see and immerse oneself in -as well as rest for the walk out of town tomorrow.
